Fallout 76 is a forthcoming online multiplayer ARPG (action role-playing video game) that is developed by BGS (Bethesda Game Studios). The game was published by the American video game publisher called Bethesda Softworks for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. It’s a prequel to the series of the Fallout, and it’s scheduled for release on 14 November 2018.
Fallout 76 Gameplay
The game will be BGS’ first online multiplayer game. The players can play individually, or they can choose to play with a party of maximum 3 others. All the game servers will be dedicated; the player will be allocated automatically to one of them.
Whereas Fallout 76 is expected to only launch with public servers, Todd Howard, the director of the game, unveiled plans for private servers being introduced after the launch of the game.
These private servers are going to allow the players to invite their friends to play to prevent unwanted aspects of PvP (player versus player) gameplay that affects an individual game’s experience of the player. Todd described the delay as necessary to allow BGS time of assuring the public servers’ stability.
Previous elements of the Fallout video games will be present; they’ll be modified so that they can work with the real-time video game.
It’s a mechanic that was first introduced in the Fallout 3. It allows the player to pause the game and target specific locations on the body of an enemy to attack. It’ll be used as a real-time system in Fallout 76, but it’ll still allow the player to specify targets on the body of an enemy.
Fallout 76 is going to feature an open world that is four times in size compared to that of Fallout 4 video game. The game world is typically modelled on West Virginia; it’ll feature real locations recreations such as the Camden Park, New River Gorge Bridge, Woodburn Circle, The Greenbrier as well as the West Virginia State Capitol.
New Mutated Monsters
Fallout 76 will also feature many new mutated monsters, some of which (like the Flatwoods monster and the Mothman) were inspired by the folklore of West Virginian.
